Event Description:
The smartphone has become an invaluable tool for traditional artists and for generating fine art in a new way. But you can do so much more than point and shoot! Maximize the camera functions of your phone and learn to use some of the most powerful shooting and editing apps out there. This class is not just for beginners; those with all kinds of photography experience will benefit too. You do need to know the basic function on how to take a photo on your phone. Students need an iPhone 9 or higher, iPad or equivalent, Any Samsung Galaxy, or Droid will work as well. (Please note! - some of the optional auxiliary apps are only iPhone compatible). Armin has taught art at the American Academy of Art in Chicago, the Colorado Academy of Art, Atelier Art School in Detroit, Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center in Detroit, and the Flint institute of Art just to name a few. Ages 16 and up. Preregistration required by 1/19.
