Event Description:
Explore the creative possibilities of using “materials at hand” which will include traditional and non-traditional resources such as collage, acrylic paint, gesso, found materials, print and mark making; in the true spirit of mixed media arts. Mixed media works often supersede expectations offering opportunities for richer artistic expression. Artist Allise Noble, well known for her award-winning mixed media pieces, will lead you though this creative process. You may paint anything you wish as You may wish to follow along with Allise as she demonstrates her techniques with an elephant painting (traceable image provided) or paint something else that captures your attention. All materials including 16 x 20 canvas provided. Preregister by 7/8.
