Event Description:
Disability Network of Mid-Michigan and Personal Assistance Options invite you to join them for a community picnic celebrating the 31st anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The theme of the this year's ADA anniversary is: Celebrate. Learn. Share. WHEN: Monday, July 26, from 4:00 - 8:00pm WHERE: Auburn City Park, 435 S. Auburn Rd, Auburn WHAT: Live Music, Fun and Games, Bounce House, Info Booths, Kayaking, and Fishing. Special Guest: Lou E. Loon! We'll also have partner tables with organizations from throughout the area providing valuable resources and information. The first 400 visitors will receive food vouchers which can be used at the food truck or any of the snack vendors. In addition to celebrating the ADA, we encourage attendees and their families to Learn and Share. There will be a timeline showing the history of Americans with Disabilities Act and its impact.
