PROPOSAL COORDINATOR & COMMUNICATION PROFESSIONAL
 
WTA Architects is a full-service architectural firm specializing in Healthcare, Education (K-12 and Higher Education), Commercial, Governmental, Religious, and Historic Preservation work.  As a Michigan based firm, we offer knowledgeable expertise in the design of new facilities both small and large. We also work extensively with existing buildings, providing services that include assessments, additions, renovations, and upgrades.

We are looking for a Proposal Coordinator/Communication Professional to assist in our marketing and business development efforts.  The role will be to work with our marketing and project teams and manage proposal response efforts for the firm.  Working with Principals, the candidate will help to create overall marketing and communications strategies and assist in seeking new business opportunities. 
 
We are looking for a creative individual that will help raise the brand identification and recognition of the firm. The candidate will work with other staff to manage the development and production of marketing materials, as well as lead in the RFP/RFQ response process.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with principals, associates, and project managers to develop project specific proposal responses, scopes of work, and fees.
  • Manage “Go/No Go” program for RRQ/RFP’s.
  • Create and update resumes, boilerplate information, project descriptions, etc.
  • Work with project managers to develop standard/typical proposal sections and scopes of work.
  • Coordinate specialized consultants (photographers)
  • Log and maintain new opportunities and proposals.
  • Manage collateral materials development, public relations and advertising programs, special events, direct mail programs, and marketing research activities.
  • Produce marketing communications pieces such as aids, brochures, post cards, email content, etc. for project interviews, client meetings, conferences, and in house presentations, etc.
  • Produce awards submittals.
  • Maintain and continually update web site information and social media sites.
  • Assure quality of documents produced and distributed
  • Maintain established corporate brand standards, e.g. logo, templates, etc.
  • Plan marketing activities with Marketing Team.
    • Annual holiday card.
    • Plan and coordinate special events.
    • Follow up with thank you notes as necessary.
    • Coordinate mailing and/or distribution of promotional items.
  • Assist with article writing, press releases, and placement.
  • Maintain organization of digital marketing folder.
  • Participate in additional activities established by Business Development Director.
