Window Works in Midland MI is looking to hire a Window Treatment and Lighting Professional to support our growing business. From scheduling home visits, to measuring, to accurately inputting and tracking orders, this job requires a high degree of organization and critical attention to details.
Must:
Be able to read a measuring tape
Have your own vehicle
Be able to climb stepstools or small ladders
Be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
Be able to set and keep home visit appointments with clients
Have a strong interest in all things interior design or interior decorating related
Be able to pass a background check
At Window Works, the client comes first. Fixing an issue for a client is every bit as important as winning their business in the first place. We're looking for someone who not only enjoys helping others but will go the extra mile to fix an issue when something isn't right.
Nice to have or willing to learn:
Use Gmail, Word, PowerPoint, floor planning software
Basic understanding of home lighting including light color range and function
Work schedule will be:
Shop hours: Mon/Tue 12pm-5pm, Wed/Thur 11am-4pm
Plus schedule flexibility M-Th mornings and Fri/Sat 10-4 to conduct home visits
Expect a total time commitment of around 28 hours per week
This position is based in Midland and most home visits are conducted there and in the surrounding areas, however, the successful candidate must be willing to do some traveling as we do occasionally book home visits up to 40 miles away.
