Midland Furniture Garage is not your average furniture store. We want you to think of us as your source for furniture and design ideas for the home of 2017. We strive to show unique products in a unique setting that will allow you to create a home that reflects your unique style.
Our building started out in 1936 as a Nash automobile showroom. Over the years it evolved and was the home for several other businesses, but each business was auto related. So when we purchased the building, we knew we couldn't simply cover the history and start fresh, but rather needed to embrace the history by incorporating it into our presentation.
We believe that common materials have inherent beauty. The original terracotta blocks add texture to the space, and the joists that support the roof create a visual rhythm. Whether we realize it or not, we crave texture and visual interest when we look at interior space. The drywall boxes we live in do not provide the level of interest our minds crave.
