Health Advantage Credit Union Raises Over $1,000 for MyMichigan Health’s Breast

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Health Advantage Credit Union united members and employees for a meaningful October fundraiser, raising $1,004.50 to benefit MyMichigan Health’s Breast Health Program.

Through a combination of creative initiatives, Health Advantage members and employees joined forces to support this vital cause. Members donated $1 for breast cancer awareness circles displayed in branches, showing their solidarity with those affected by breast cancer. Employees supported the cause by donating $20 to receive a special Pink Health Advantage T-shirt, proudly worn every Monday in October. Additional activities throughout the month further amplified these fundraising efforts.

The total funds raised were donated to two local MyMichigan Health Foundations:
•$500 to the MyMichigan Medical Center Saginaw Foundation
•$504.50 to the MyMichigan Health Foundation in Midland

“This effort showcases the power of coming together as a community to support a meaningful cause,” said Laura Crase, President and CEO at Health Advantage Credit Union. “We are proud to contribute to MyMichigan Health’s efforts in providing vital breast health programs and resources to those in need.”

Health Advantage Credit Union is dedicated to supporting local health initiatives and fostering a culture of giving that uplifts the communities it serves.
