Kristen Rice, PT, DPT brings nearly 15 years of physical therapy experience to the clinic, along with a passion for helping patients achieve their health and lifestyle goals.
Prior to joining the Renue team, Rice worked mainly in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy serving Bay City and surrounding communities. She has treated patients for issues including back and neck pain, balance impairments, post-surgical rehabilitation and various orthopedic and neurological conditions.
“Over the past six months, our referrals have grown by more than 13% compared to the same timeframe last year, so we are excited to grow our clinical team with the addition of Kristen,” said Renue Bay City East Managing Partner Shaun Sullivan, PT, AT, ATC. “Her clinical skills along with her passion for serving Bay City and helping patients thrive through exceptional health outcomes make her an ideal fit to continue to grow our clinic.”
Rice believes education is a key part of recovery for patients, no matter what issues they are being seen for.
“To achieve the highest levels of healing, it’s important for patients to receive quality physical therapy, but also to really understand what is happening with their bodies,” said Rice. “It’s important to me that my patients understand why I’m prescribing certain exercises, and that they know how to do them properly.
