Renue Physical Therapy - Auburn Announces Relocation to Larger Facility

(Auburn, MI) - Renue Physical Therapy - Auburn has announced its upcoming move from their existing Midland Road location to a newly renovated and expanded facility at 4760 Garfield Road beginning Monday, August 5, 2024. The relocation will significantly increase the clinic's space to approximately 3,500 square feet, allowing for enhanced patient care and expanded services.

“We have enjoyed serving Auburn and getting to know the community since we opened our doors at Renue Auburn in 2019,” said Renue Chief Executive Officer Tony Klapish. “As our patient base has grown, we needed a larger space to better serve patients and add more services. The new location will be a great fit for the needs of our patients and the Auburn community, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone to the new Renue Auburn.”

The Garfield Road location offers three private treatment rooms and a spacious gym area for Managing Partner Jake Young, PT, DPT and his team to serve patients. The clinic also features a track and turf running the length of the main gym, allowing therapists to work with athletes recovering from injury to allow them to return to play more quickly.

Dr. Young enjoyed the opportunity to help design the treatment space. “I’ve always loved working with athletes, and the addition of the track and turf at the new facility will make it easier for us replicate many of the movements that are important in sports,” said Dr. Young. “We’ll be able to help people return to their sport or other activities even faster and with the confidence they need to perform well.”

Dr. Young was named managing partner at Renue Auburn in spring of 2024, and has been treating patients since 2011. He and his team offer skilled therapy services including:

  • Physical Therapy –?From post-surgical recovery to orthopedics, strength training and pain management, patients benefit from hands-on, one-on-one treatment at each session.

  • Balance and Fall Prevention –?Vestibular and strength training programs to help improve balance and reduce fall risk.

  • Free Screenings?– Anyone with a strain, injury or nagging pain can request a free 15-minute screening with an experienced therapist who can help determine if physical therapy is a good fit for their needs.

  • Sports Medicine?– Available for athletes of all ages and performance levels to help treat and prevent injuries while helping athletes gain the strength needed to optimize their performance.?

  • Dry Needling – Dr. Jake Young has been trained to perform dry needling through the Integrated Dry Needling Institute. Dry needling has been shown to accelerate healing, improve flexibility, increase circulation, reduce inflammation, relieve pain, and more.

"Our team is excited about the opportunities this move presents," Dr. Young said. "We look forward to welcoming both current and new patients to our expanded facility, where we'll continue to provide the highest standard of care in a more spacious and modern environment."
