(Bay City, Michigan) — Renue Physical Therapy has been recognized as one of the 2024 awardees for the Michigan 50 Companies to Watch Award, presented by Michigan Celebrates Small Business. Renue will be acknowledged on-stage at the awards ceremony during the 20th annual Michigan Celebrates Small Business Gala on May 21, 2024.
The event will gather over 800 guests at the Breslin Center in East Lansing, Michigan to celebrate the achievements of this year’s award recipients.

Established in 2011, Renue Physical Therapy delivers personalized care with over 65,000 therapy visits annually from 3,400 referring physicians, providing care and treatment for orthopedic-related disorders, sports-related injuries, preventative care, rehabilitation of injured workers, and a variety of other injuries and conditions at 16 clinics in mid-Michigan.
Renue has been rapidly growing over the past few years, with a new patient growth rate of 10% from 2022 – 2023, and a five-year growth rate of 62% since 2019. Renue also grew their staff by 50% in 2023 and is rapidly nearing 100 full time employees.
"We’ve added many clinics over the past few years, but in the past year we’ve focused more on optimizing the clinics we already have,” said Renue CEO Tony Klapish.”We added 37 new employees in 2023 and also expanded the footprint of six of our clinics to increase the number of patients we can serve and add new services at those locations. Michigan Celebrates received over 500 nominations for the 2024 Michigan 50 Companies to Watch award. In addition to a competitive landscape for this award, the businesses who are selected by the judges go through a rigorous due diligence process prior to the final decision.
