A KID AGAIN - Michigan Chapter

A Kid Again exists to provide hope, happiness, and healing in the lives of families raising a child with a life-threatening condition. We do this by providing cost-free Adventures. This helps families facing the daily challenges of raising a critically ill child to put illness, hospital stays, and treatments aside. Families can relax, have fun, make memories, and enjoy a much-needed support system of other families who understand their child’s medical complexities.

No other organization does exactly what we do. We are unique in that:
? We serve the whole immediate family including siblings, not just the ill child.
? We provide experiences year-round so the family always has something to look forward to and can develop a community with other families going through a similar medical journey.
? We are condition agnostic, serving many families whose children’s conditions are too rare to have stand-alone service organizations.
