Alzheimer's Association

Our mission is to eliminate Alzheimer’s disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health. Midland's Central Michigan Region office serves a 12 county area with an estimated 24,000 people with Alzheimer’s disease. We offer a wealth of programs and services designed to meet the needs of those with Alzheimer’s, as well as family members, care partners and the public; including a 24/7 helpline and referral service, support groups, educational programs, care consultation services, safety programs and professional training. The Association funds local programs and services through donations, grants and the revenue from events including the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, the nation’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research.
