About
New Pathways Counseling Services, LLC was created to serve the needs of residents of Midland and surrounding communities with walk-in hours 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Monday - Friday. We know you have questions about our services and we’d love to answer them with a free consultation session. We work with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues providing services that span from therapy for anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief counseling to parenting support, couples counseling and beyond. New Pathways founders Jennifer R Werries, Ph.D., LPC, NCC and Thomas J Parella, Ph.D., LPC, and and staff strive to deliver a highly personalized approach tailored to each individual client and situation in a comfortable and supportive atmosphere. Working with a therapist can be a great way to gain new perspectives, explore new options and solutions that may have eluded us, and find ways of getting ''unstuck'' from situations in which we may have felt helpless. At New Pathways, we view counseling as a collaboration between therapist and client, who work together to understand issues, clarify thoughts and feelings, establish goals, and find ways to achieve a better quality of life. We work with individuals, couples, and families from age three through all stages childhood, adolescence and adulthood. Allow us to walk your journey with you.
Our staff works with a broad range of concerns such as: ADD/ADHD, addiction, adolescent, adults, aging, agoraphobia, anxiety, career transition, children, childhood trauma and loss, communication, compulsive gambling, couples, crisis counseling, depression, divorce counseling, domestic abuse, dual diagnosis, eating disorders, LBGT issues, geriatrics, grief/loss, group therapy, infertility, internet addiction, intimacy, male sexual dysfunction, marriage/family, meditation, men's issues, mid-life transition, mood disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder, panic disorder, parenting, phobias, post-traumatic stress disorder, postpartum depression, play therapy, relationships, self esteem, sexual abuse and sexuality.
